Child's Bed This project was a very special one. A customer asked me if I could build sides to his son's bed to keep him from falling out of bed at night. He wanted the sides to be fixed having only the front hinged to open forward. I told him it could be done. The front and back have a 1 inch frame with 1/2 plywood panel inside. The side to the wall and the hinged side are made of solid oak 3/4 thick. The front is hinged 1/3 of the way up. I made it that size so he would not catch his feet when climbing into bed. After it was installed the customer told me it works wonderfully. As you can tell this project was 100% percent custom work. This kind of custom work is what I specailize in.
